Dear Alumnae,
This message marks my first communication with you as the President of the AASMC. It gives
me great pride and a deep sense of bonding with the former denizens of this campus across time
and place, and perhaps one day, space too, as I pen a few thoughts on this page.
I hope you realise how important you are to our community. In many ways, you are our brand
ambassadors, carrying and transmitting Stella Marian ideals and values wherever you go, and
through what you do. Your work testifies to our worth as a highly reputed educational
institutional for women and we are proud of your achievements as women leaders in every social
sphere that you inhabit. You influence lives, futures, development and progress at innumerable
levels in professional and personal fields. You serve as an inspiration to our young students who
look up to you as role models who have trodden the path to success and fulfilment as members of
our tightly knit Stella Maris Community.
We are connected with one another through a very special bond of shared experiences and
friendship throughout our lifetimes. I invite you to continue to keep in touch and return to your
alma mater whenever you are in the vicinity.
Let us know how you have been, the places you have visited, the people you have met, what you
have done or achieved. We are always happy to get updates on your progress and your lives.
